Fagervik
The Fagervik Manor House (Fagervik kartano) is a beautiful and well-maintained manor complex that dates back to the 18th century. It was originally built in the Rococo style but later underwent some neoclassical modifications. Established by the Wrangel family, who were members of the Swedish nobility, it overlooks the Gulf of Finland in the Uusimaa region.
Situated close to the manor house is Fagervik church, an old wooden building dating back to the 18th century. A tall bell tower stands next to the old church.
Currently the Fagervik Manor House serves as a museum where visitors can explore the history of the manor and the region. The museum showcases the lifestyle, art and culture of past centuries in this part of Finland. Visit the museum website here.
