Hämeenlinna Church
A man and young boy stand in front of the Hämeenlinna Church in Finland in 1893.
Louis Jean Desprez designed the church in 1789 in the Gustavian classic style. Construction lasted from 1792 to 1798. The church, resembling the Roman Pantheon, boasted a circular layout with a dome. Its interior features an amphitheater design, with pews curving gently around a central altar.
