Girls in Tammisaari
Tammisaari (Ekenäs) is the seventh oldest town in Finland and the first non-medieval town. It was granted town rights by King Gustav Wasa on December 15, 1546.
The Ekenäs church tower can be seen in the background. The church was renovated by Charles Bassi, an Italian-born architect, between 1839-1842 following a fire in 1821.
