Helsinki General Exhibition - Intermediate Exhibition Hall
The Finnish General Exhibition of 1876 showcased a variety of items in its Intermediate Hall (middle hall) located between the Central Hall and the art wing. Among the prominent displays were rows of bottles featuring Finland's beverages, including beer, port, brandy, liqueurs and more. Adjacent to these were preserved game and fish, along with hunting and fishing gear.
On the left side of the hall, visitors could explore samples from sugar factories and pastry works, including a remarkable sugar ship with sugar crew and sails. Nearby, showcases exhibited men's and women's clothing, furrier's works, wallpaper samples, and displays from agricultural and forestry colleges.
