Frenckell Paper Mill in Tampere
The Frenckell paper mill was located along Tammerkoski (Tammer rapids) in Tampere, Finland. Built in 1842, it was Finland’s first continuous paper mill.
Paper was produced on the site as far back as 1783, when paper was made by hands with rags.
