Cadets in Hamina
Established in 1819 under Tsar Alexander I, the Cadet School in Hamina, Finland, served as a training ground for aspiring military leaders. The school's rigorous curriculum combined academic study, physical training, and military drills, instilling discipline and leadership qualities in its cadets.
Notable cadets included Field Marshal Mannerheim, who was expelled in 1886, Carl Enckell, Johan Mauritz Nordenstam, and Generals Rudolf Walden and Hannes Ignatius.
