Swedish Theatre, Helsinki
The snow-covered streets of Helsinki near the Swedish Theatre (curved building on the right) in the late 1800s.
Re-opening in 1866, after the original building was destroyed by fire only three years after it’s initial opening, the Swedish Theatre (Svenska Teatern) is the oldest theatre in Finland that still operates exclusively in Swedish.
