Uspenski Cathedral
Uspenski Cathedral stands high above Helsinki's market square. The buildings are (from left) the Hotel Seurahuone, Hotel Kleineh and the Imperial Palace.
Designed by Russian architect Aleksey Gornostayev, the cathedral is home to the Orthodox Church of Finland. The cathedral’s inauguration was held on October 25, 1868.
