The Old Man and a Cabin
A portrait of an old man in front of a cabin in the former Finnish municipality of Koivisto.
Koivisto is located in Karelia, an area of Finland that was ceded to the Soviet Union in 1944 at the end of the Continuation War. The inhabitants of Koivitsto were relocated to different regions within the newly defined borders of Finland, including Askola, Kymi, Mäntsälä and Pornainen.
