If our research is correct, Mrs. Sofie Örn was a member of the upper class in Viipuri, Finland in the 1800s. She was a founding member of Finland’s first private women’s association in Viipuri, a charity with stated goals of philanthropy and promotion of Christian ideals. The association collected funds by holding raffles and hosting masquerades.
