Sunden's House in Vaasa, Finland
The snowy, winter streets of Vaasa, Finland in 1895, featuring Sunden House (left).
Named after the Royal House of Vasa, Vaasa (Vasa) has a history dating back to the 1600s. In 1852, a significant portion of the city was destroyed by a devasting fire, leading to the reconstruction of the town. Sunden House, with its plastered brick, corner entrance and tower, was completed in 1860.
